I am truly grateful to many collaborators, editors, students, and teachers who have supported and worked with me through these myriad projects.
Worked backstage with Mirrorbox Theatre on shows that adapted to the pandemic: “Love & Other Destinations” (actors/crew were distanced indoors, musical broadcast live online), and “The Parking Lot” (play performed outdoors in the CSPS parking lot in Cedar Rapids, audience members stayed in their cars).
Ten-minute play “Boxes” selected for Mount Vernon Lisbon Community Theatre’s Sweater Weather (recorded), January 2021.
Ten-minute play “Halloween 1977” selected for Theatre Cedar Rapids Halloween Horror Night flash play festival, October 2020.
Short story “Balloon Killer” in Joyland Magazine.
Worked backstage at Theatre Cedar Rapids on “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder” (as the D’Ysquiths’ dresser–thank you to the Gazette for the shout out), “Matilda,” and “Hello, Dolly!”
2020: Wrote “I Swear it’s the Truth,” a romantic comedy (directed by Matt Brewbaker) for the All in a Day Play Festival at the Coralville Center for the Performing Arts (presented by Dreamwell Theatre, City Circle Theatre Company, and Iowa City Community Theater).
2019: Wrote “Amnesia Falls,” a soap opera parody (directed by Jeremy Eble).
Collaborated with Monica Leo of Eulenspiegel Puppets to write and perform “The Rats & the Stewmaker” in The Diner Plays, a presentation of The Doggers (a collective of Corridor-based playwrights), September 2018.
