Collaborated with Sonya Darrow to eulogize Ella and Lizzie Cherry at the dedication of their headstones, June 2017, Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion, Iowa.

I was on the staff of the Drama program at Franklin Middle School from 2014-20, overseeing a musical and a student-written play each school year. Duties included mentoring student writers (who produced 8 full-length plays), parent communication, scheduling, costumes, props, set construction, lighting, sound, and wrangling the true drama backstage.

“The Cherry Sisters’ First Trial” was produced in the Cedar Rapids Downtown Library’s beautiful new Whipple Auditorium, in a presentation sponsored by the library, April 24 and 27, 2014.
